2016 Rewind

2016 was a "catch-up" year for our family! Although it was wonderful, I felt like we were constantly trying to catch up from a crazy 2015.  Some highlights of the year...

January
. Baby Liam was blessed by Lance and was quite the dapper young man
. Chloe celebrates her 6th birthday
. Amanda celebrated her 30th birthday
. made a lot of fruit smoothies

February
. Reconstruction of our Master Bathroom Remodel (more on that later)
. Emma starts swimming lessons
. Amanda is released from Young Women's and called to Primary

March
. Reading week dress up at Chloe's school
. Emma's first talk in Primary
. Chloe's 3rd soccer season begins
. visit our first splash pad of the season
. Emma gets her first bike, courtesy of Grandmother Clemons
. Easter in coordinating church outfits (of course!)

April
. Amanda's grandfather passes away and we attend his funeral in Panguitch, Utah
. 2 baby showers- one for sis-in-law and one for a bestie
. Amanda starts hobby of metal stamping

May
. Amanda runs her 2nd half marathon- Mt. Charleston Revel
. Amanda and Lance celebrate 8 years of blissful marriage!
. Lance celebrates 30th birthday
. Emma learns to swim officially!
. Panguitch Lake fishing trip

June
. Chloe's 4th and Emma's 1st dance recital
. visit grandparents in Florida for 2 weeks
. Chloe and Emma start tennis lessons
. Emma gets a haircut in church (hello, sister who stuck gum in her hair)
. Lance is called as Elder's Quorum president

July
. 4th of July spent in FL
. swim every single day
. girls go to Peter Pan at Tuachan

August
. Baby blessings of 2 nieces and brother's BYU graduation means a week-long trip to Utah

. Liam celebrates his 1st birthday
. San Diego with Clemons family over Labor Day
. Chloe begins 1st grade
. Amanda gets a road bike!

September
. Emma begins Preschool
. Kick it into high gear to finish Master Bathroom
. Lance and Amanda take a quick trip to Portland, OR
. Amanda sets goal to finish all unfinished projects by Thanksgiving
. Amanda is called to be primary pianist

October
. Master Bathroom is complete and we can finally shower and go potty!
. Halloween- Emma and Chloe are both Elena of Avalor, Liam is a scubadiver
. visit to the local pumpkin patch
. Lance and Amanda catch a Seahawks vs. Cardinals in Pheonix, AZ
. Lance and Amanda catch a BYU football game in Provo, UT
. Legoland CA with kiddos

November
. Chloe and Emma both shoot a BB gun for the first time at Stake Fall Carnival
. cousin gets home from his mission
. Liam learns how to walk at Thanksgiving
. Thanksgiving with Clemons
. Emma celebrates her 4th birthday
. allllllll the unfinished projects were completed just in time for Thanksgiving!

December
. Elders quorum presidency dinner party
. Western Elite Christmas Express
. Chloe and Emma have Christmas dance performance
. Chloe's 1st grade Winter Performance
. 2nd Thanksgiving with the Anderson's
. Lance starts job with a new company
. caroling with the grandparent's ward
. Christmas with the Stewart's
. matching family pj's (win!!!)
. coordinating family Christmas church outfits
. visit to Hoover Dam bridge

We are so excited for what 2017 will bring and I have big plans for this little blog of mine.
Next up... 2017's goals!
