Let me just say this now...
I survived the first week of my New Year's resolutions. It was tough, but I did it! Woohoo!
Went to the gym...MWF at 6 am... people! That's gotta be some kind of record for me. Lance and I decided that we would do it together, which helps a ton to have someone as a support group.
Cooked dinner...we didn't eat out until Saturday night...that definitely is a record. I went shopping and bought tons of good, healthy food for us to eat and we have never felt better. If I get a sugar tooth, I've been reaching for an orange. By the way, our eating out was at Happy Sumo. Hooray for sushi and edemame, no guilt there. Nothing can be wrong with eating fish, rice, and soy beans.
Wrote a bomb talk. Ok, well, I won't know it's bomb until I give it tomorrow. Pray for me!
I'm a good wife. Well, duh. Actually I have been trying to chill out and my high strung, list keeping personality has gone into the shadows for a few days. That is a record.
I signed up for school this week! Yay! I am so excited to start my first graduate class. It is supposedly a writing class so considering that's all I did in my major at BYU, I'm feeling good about it, at least pre-school. We'll see how I'm feeling after Feb. 2.
Thus goes the Best Week Ever. By the way, another reason why I'm excited for school is to kick my habit of television. My guilty list: Gossip Girl, Privileged, The Bachelor, Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Lipstick Jungle, The Hills, and The City. There is nothing else to do when Lance can't hang out with me! I subscribe to Newsweek and that gets read. I blog. AND I've flown through my ongoing book list. Thank heavens for school.
Well, my little secret is out. It should be an interesting upcoming week.
