Yay! It's the holidays and mother nature has let us know! As I sit here thinking about this season, I can't help but be grateful for everything that I have been given. My wonderful husband is as sweet as ever...sorry about the mushyness and we have begun to build an awesome life together. So, in the spirit of Christmas, I'm going to share about the new traditions that we have been creating together. Hello! That's what Christmas is for...not only remembering Christ but bringing families closer to each other. We bought our first Christmas tree this year and boy oh boy what a fiasco that was! First someone wanted real, then fake, then black, then fiber optic, and then we finally finally settled on a classic, pre-lit, green, 6.5 ft. tree. You'd think that would be the end...but then you have to decide on style of decorations, color, lighting for the house, music, the works! I never thought Christmas was so exhausting, but alas, we have begun out tradition of Lance decorating the tree while I hook ornaments and give directions as to where those decorations should go (oh so kindly, my dear). After which we have been making cookies and giving them to those that we have become friends with since we were married. I love this time of the season, I hope that everyone else will remember that we should be showing how grateful we are by giving to those who could use a little boost...know what I'm saying? Merry Christmas!
